Iranian regime refused visas to EP delegation due to inability to respond to international community’s demands

The head of the European Parliament’s delegation announced their trip to Iran was cancelled following Tehran’s refusal to provide visas.
We intended to initiate constructive talks with the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) representatives, government officials and others regarding various subjects including the Iranian regime’s nuclear program, human rights, energy, the environment, national security and the upcoming Majlis elections, the delegation chief said.
The official Kuwaiti news agency cited the delegation chief saying Iranian regime officials refused to provide visas. This delegation was to visit Iran from October 31st to November 4th.
Such a decision by Tehran’s mullahs shows their inability to confront international figures and discuss issues such as their controversial nuclear program – which Western governments accuse of heading towards weapons production – and its atrocious human rights record.
