Mohsen Refighdoust - mullahs’ main element in transferring drugs to Europe
The Iranian regime has a widespread network of exporting enormous amounts of drugs to Europe, seeking to expand its range of activities. The Azzaman International daily printed a new report citing intelligence sources revealing details of this network.
A company belonging to former Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) member Mohsen Refighdoust transfers the drugs from Iran with two boats and airplanes in small packages to the countries of Albania, Romania and Bulgaria. These packages are distributed secretly throughout Western Europe in large trucks belonging to Albanian and Romanian companies. In addition to this, a transport company belonging to the Iranian regime with 300 buses at its disposal also allocates these packages from Iran to Europe. This company is under the supervision of an IRGC member by the name of Abdullah Iraqi .This individual is also responsible for gathering the profit from selling these packages and handling the money laundering process, with the money finally transferred to a special bank account.
The mentioned network initially obtains the drugs from Afghanistan. Recently, an Afghan dealer who had financial disputes with IRGC mafia members provided details of this network to the Americans there. The Americans came to learn the drug shipments are transferred from Afghanistan to India by air, thus to other areas. US officials urged New Delhi to scout and follow the travel agenda and destination of this plane. Later on Indian officials informed the Americans of the details of this flight.
Pursuing the Iranian regime’s drug network, Interpol confiscated four boats belonging to IRGC companies and found large consignments of drugs being transferred to Australia and New Zealand. These documents prove the IRGC has become one of the world’s largest mafia cartels engaged in drug trade throughout the world. Experts believe the Iranian regime’s drug mafia profited $4 billion through narcotics smuggling last year alone. These experts say if the IRGC continues its current trend of drug smuggling its profits will reach an annual amount of $20 billion.
