Substitute teachers gather once again outside mullahs’ Majlis

A large number of substitute teachers and instructors of technical schools from throughout Iran gathered on Tuesday morning outside the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) and took part in a sit-in.
The participants are demanding their job status to be looked into and to be led back to their jobs.
“It was agreed for teachers who had over four years of experience to be hired once again,” one teacher said. “However, not only were they not hired, we have not received any premiums either. From the first day of the Iranian new year, all the country’s technical schools have been placed under the supervision of the higher education branch. Before this, these schools were under the public education branch. Now, neither of these branches are willing to respond to our demands.”
