Various Arab media cover Red Cross’ denial on role in Iraq Camp Ashraf closure

Al-Sharqiya TV reported: Red Cross distanced itself from being a part of a committee to close Camp Ashraf. Head of the Red Cross representative office Iraq announced it is unlikely for the ICRC to take this role
Al-Rafidain TV said: The ICRC reiterated its concerns on the use of force by Iraqi security forces against Ashraf residents.
Al-Hurra TV reported: The ICRC issued a statement on Monday saying despite recent remarks made by Iraqi officials about the ICRC taking a part in a trilateral committee to oversee the closure of Camp Ashraf, this role is seen as unlike by the ICRC.
Azzaman International daily wrote: The ICRC denied remarks made by the Iraqi President a few days ago in Iran about its participation in a committee to close Camp Ashraf.
Radio Sawa (Arabic) reported: The head of the ICRC representative in Iraq said this committee is not a part of the committee which is said to be established for the closure of Camp Ashraf.
Iraq’s NINA news agency wired a report saying: The ICRC announced we will not be a part of a committee to close Camp Ashraf.
Radio Free Iraq reported: The ICRC issued a statement Monday denying its role in a committee to close Camp Ashraf, home to PMOI in Iraq.
