Aljazeera: US officials call for opening Ashraf doors to media

NCRI , 20 April 2011 – Aljazeera reported on Monday that a number of senior former US officials have recently urged opening the doors of Camp Ashraf by the Iraqi government to international journalists and human rights organizations.
Appearing at a conference in Washington, D.C. last week, they also called for the public release of a report by an American team that visited Ashraf after the recent tragic events there on April 8, according to Aljazeera.

The TV also said that Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, has welcomed the international community’s call for a full, independent and transparent investigation into what she described as a bloodshed in Ashraf. She added that the assailing forces are still stationed in Ashraf in a bid to continue their suppressive measures.
