The Washington Times, on Dec.1, wrote: a British court ordered an Iranian opposition group removed from the government’s list of terrorist organizations yesterday.
The People’s Mujahedin of Iran had appealed to authorities to be taken off the list, which Britain’s Home Office had fought to keep them on the list.
The group was added to the U.S. terrorist list during the Clinton administration in a bid to improve U.S.-Iranian relations, but it has proven an important source on Iran’s secret nuclear programs.
