In an interview with Associated Press, Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, top U.S. commander in the area southeast of Baghdad that borders Iran warned on Wednesday of the militias under Quds Force command in Iraq and said: “We’re really in a wait-and-see mode to see whether or not there’s specific progress. I’m still finding Iranian rockets and explosively formed penetrators that are traceable back to Iran.”
He expressed concern regarding the Iranian regime’s influence in Iraq and training militias inside Iran.
