April 13, 2019 – Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the Iranian opposition issued a statement expressing solidarity with the people in flood-hit towns, cities, and provinces.
She tweeted: “My heartfelt sympathies are with the flood-stricken people of Khorasan, Hormozgan & those threatened with floods in Kerman, Yazd, Isfahan, Sistan & Balouchestan. I emphasize the need to stand ready to assist with the formation of popular councils.”

Mrs. Rajavi also called on the youth in all provinces to get involved and help the flood victims by any means possible.
“I call on youth in Khorasan, Kerman, Sistan & Balouchestan, Yazd, Isfahan & Fars in #Iran to quickly rise like the courageous youth of Khouzestan to protect our compatriots from flood damages,” tweeted Mrs. Rajavi.

She also insisted that all the resources of IRGC, Army and the government agencies belong to the people and must be used to provide relief to them.

The spokesman for the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran called on the Iranian youth to help the flood-stricken people using any tools belonging to the nation available around you.
