PMOI/MEK network marking Students Day in Iran

Iran, November 7, 2019—Members of “Resistance Units” and supporters of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) have been actively escalating their activities in the month of November. These measures are providing hope and spirit to the Iranian people as the mullahs’ regime continues its domestic crackdown with the objective of imposing a damning atmosphere of disappointment and passivity across the country.

In Tehran, various images of Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), were put up with lines reading, “With Maryam Rajavi, we can and we must!” and “We will take back Iran with Maryam Rajavi!”

In Mashhad, PMOI supporters put up images of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi with quotes in support of resistance units.

In Fuman, northern Iran, a poster of Maryam Rajavi read, “Freedom and victory are in your hands!” and “The lesson of freedom is the most important lesson for Iranian youths.”

In Tehran, a poster of Maryam Rajavi read, “To continue the uprising, rise up to free Iran from the mullahs’ occupation.”

In the cities of Gilan and Rasht, northern Iran, Maryam Rajavi posters read, “Freedom and victory are in your hands!”

In Karaj, west of Tehran, a Maryam Rajavi poster reads, “Freedom and victory are in your hands!”

In Isfahan, Shahr-e Kord, and Qazvin, Maryam Rajavi posters read, “Freedom and victory are in your hands!” “The lesson of freedom is the mot important lesson for Iranian youths.”

In Golestan, a Maryam Rajavi poster reads, “To continue the uprising, rise up to free Iran from the mullahs’ occupation,” and “Hail to Rajavi, Down with dictatorship.”

In East Azerbaijan Province, Khoy and Zanjan, all in northwest Iran, resistance units took to graffiti and wrote, “Hail to Rajavi, Down with Khamenei,” referring to the Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Resistance units and brave MEK supporters also escalated their efforts by focusing on targeting the Iranian regime’s icons of crackdown and fear.

In Urmia, northwest Iran, resistance unit members set fire to an image of Khamenei.

In Mashhad and Isfahan, resistance unit members set fire to various sites affiliated to the Iranian regime.

In Tehran, numerous resistance units set fire to various posters and sites of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces.

In Karaj, a poster of the Basij was set ablaze by resistance units members.

In the cities of Maku, Shiraz, Marand, Mashhad and Kermanshah, various resistance units also set fire to regime icons and various sites affiliated to the IRGC and intelligence apparatus.
