OUR IRAN, Apr 23, 2018-- On Monday, April 23, 2018, truck drivers in Isfahan province and cities of Bandar-e Mahshahr and Bandar-e Khomeyni in the Khuzestan province of Iran, went on strike for a few days in protest of lower fares, lowering the tonnage of trucks and high expenses.

Protesting drivers have said in the course of these past days that despite the heavy work, due to the low fares and the high expenses, their economic situation is extremely severe.

It should be noted that in recent days, in addition to the strike of truck drivers, other sectors, such as merchants and shop-owners of Kurdistan and looted people in various cities, have continued to protest.
