Merchants and store-owners in Baneh, Kurdistan province continued general strike

/, May 11, 2018 - On Thursday, May 10th, merchants, and store-owners in Baneh, Kurdistan province continued their 26th consecutive day of the general strike demanding the reopening of the - border pass & protesting skyrocketing custom tariffs. It is wise to explain that the Iranian regime closes the border passes in order to prevent locals from doing export and import business with the bordering country and to keep the monopoly just for some elite and government-owned companies.

On the other hand, looted investors of the bankrupt Ayandeh Bank in Tehran staged a rally and while marching, they were chanting: "the Ayandeh Bank is corrupt which has stolen our money".

Regime's agents and security forces surrounded the protestors trying to disperse the protesters.
