PMOI/ MEK,1 May 2018-- Supplementary reports from outside the Iranian regime’s Majlis in Tehran indicate authorities have dispatched a large number of security forces and plainclothes agents to the Labor Day protest site in this area.
These security units have reportedly attacked the Labor Day march and faced stiff resistance by the protesters. These reports indicate a number of women initially arrested by the authorities were helped by other protesters to flee the scene.
A number of male protesters were severely beaten and taken to unknown locations, sources add.
Protesters were also seen outside the regime Majlis (parliament) staging Labor Day rallies and chanting for the release of detained workers.
An activist affiliated to the PMOI/MEK network in Tehran posted a video from the capital’s Enghelab (Revolution) Square reporting a large number of security forces dispatched to the area missioned to quell any anti-government protests.
