Iran, March 26, 2020—The infection and death toll of the coronavirus continues to mount across Iran, while at the same time devastating floods have spread in 19 provinces across Iran, leaving behind dozens killed and injured. According to People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), more than 11,500 people have died of coronavirus infection in 222 cities across Iran and a 900 increase from the previous day. Iran has the highest COVID-19 casualty rate in the world.
These massive damages and disasters are the result of over 40 years of neglect by the mullahs’ regime.
Accordingly the brave rebellious and defiant youth and also the members of the Iranian Resistance Units, a network of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) activists, continued their activities across the country, echoing the Iranian people’s desire for a free and democratic Iran and the overthrowing of the mullah’s regime.
On March 25, the brave youths of Tehran, Andimeshk, Mashhad, Behbahan, Lorestan and Hamedan torched and demolished banners and posters of Iranian regime leaders in the streets.
In Tehran the youth destroyed a huge banner of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini. In Andimeshk, Behbahan, Hamedan and Mashhad, as the youth torched banners and images of regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei and Qassem Soleimani, the regime’s top terrorist who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in January, they chanted “We’ll answer fire with fire”.

Members of the Resistance Units in Andimeshk, Kashan and Amol installed banners and handwritten posters in various place with slogans: “Coronavirus outbreak is the guilt of the Iranian regime & mullahs”, “Ali Khamenei is the reason for people’s death” and “The Persian New Year is the year of approaching toward freedom and victory.”
On March 24, members of the Resistance Units installed banners and posters of Iranian Resistance leaders Maryam and Massoud Rajavi, and they wrote slogans in two big cities Isfahan and Mashhad.
The slogans on the posters read: “Massoud Rajavi: Medical supplies must be distributed among the Iranian people”, “Dear God, save the Iranian people from the mullahs’ coronavirus,” “Maryam Rajavi: National unity is the key element for confronting the regime and the coronavirus”, “The spring of Iran’s freedom will be realized by us and by our own hands”, “Maryam Rajavi: Hail to doctors and nurses who risk their lives to treat the coronavirus patients” and “This Persian New Year is the year of approaching toward freedom and victory.”
They also held regime responsible for spread of the coronavirus and their banners read: “Ali Khamenei and the IRGC are responsible for the spread of the coronavirus. Aim your anger at the regime instead” and “Expressing hatred for the regime, protests, and strikes must be expanded as much as possible.”
On the same day, the brave and rebellious youth in Tehran, Isfahan, Kerman and Gonabad (Khorasan Razavi) torched banners and billboards of Qassem Soleimani, Ali Khamenei and regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini and two IRGC bases.

Similar activities were carried out on March 23 and 22 in Tehran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Karaj, Shahr-e Kord, Yazd, Kazeroun, Andimeshk, Behbehan and Kermanshah.
Effigies of Khamenei, posters, billboards and images of regime leaders and Qassem Soleimani were torched and demolished. Resistance Units installed banners and posters of Iranian Resistance leaders with the slogan: “The Iranian people won’t surrender to the regime that has spread coronavirus.”
In Shiraz and Shahr-e Kord, an IRGC base and a regime’s economic foundation called Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation were torched. The Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation is one of many business ventures run by Khamenei and the IRGC, which steal the money of the Iranian people and use it to fund terrorist groups and activities abroad.
On March 22, a huge poster of Maryam Rajavi was installed in Tehran with the slogan: “Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian regime repeated its cover-up of downing the Ukrainian airliner in the coronavirus outbreak.”
Another Maryam Rajavi poster was installed Behbehan the same day: “Maryam Rajavi: Our martyrs gave their lives for our nation’s freedom.”
