Iran: PMOI/MEK “Resistance Units” target IRGC Basij units

Iran, April 16, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), is responding to a call placed by Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), to provide support to locals in flood-hit areas across Iran.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 429 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, set fire to a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij base. They also set fire to a base belonging to women Basij members.

 

 

In Sabzevar, northeast Iran, members of a resistance unit distributed leaflets of Maryam Rajavi’s call.

 

 

Members of a resistance unit in the city of Zanjan, northwest Iran, distributed leaflets and put up posters of Mrs. Rajavi’s call.

In Tehran, members of Resistance Units 698 and 937 responded to this call by putting up various signs in this regard.

 

 

A resistance unit member in Gonbade Kavus, northeast Iran, put up a sign expressing his support for this effort to provide aid to flood-hit areas.

In Tehran, Zahedan, and Karaj, members of numerous resistance units expressed their readiness in response to Mrs. Rajavi’s call.

 

 

Members of a resistance unit in Tehran took to graffiti and wrote lines of Maryam Rajavi’s message to support flood-hit areas in different parts of the city.

In Tabriz, northwest Iran also expressed their readiness to help flood victims and continue their struggle against the mullahs’ regime.

Members of Resistance Unit 880 in Babol, northern Iran, expressed their support for flood-hit areas and wrote, “The IRGC is the cause of the floods – Khamenei is the cause of destruction – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and NCRI President Maryam Rajavi.

In Babol, another resistance unit set fire to images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 450 in Karaj, west of Tehran, put up signs of Maryam Rajavi’s message on windows of numerous buses.

In Tehran and Ahvaz, members of resistance units took to graffiti and wrote slogans against the IRGC. They wrote the mullahs’ regime and the IRGC are to be blamed these floods.
