Iran: PMOI/MEK network taking on new anti-regime measures

Iran, Feb. 20, 2019 – A recent report from members of Resistance Units, a network inside Iran associated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), aimed at weakening the regime’s oppressive grip over the society.

 

 

In Mashhad, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 152 set fire to the entrance of a regime center while chanting against the regime and specifically saying, “Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 749 in Tehran set fire to a poster containing images of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei while chanting, “Death to Khamenei, Damn Khomeini [referring to the regime founder], Hail to Rajavi.”

 

 

Also in Shahr-e Ray, south of the country’s capital, members of Resistance Unit 857 set fire to the entrance of a base belonging to the notorious Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces. This site is known as “Basij Resistance Base 251.”

 

 

In Maku, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 160 set fire to a large Khamenei poster while chanting, “The world should know that Massoud is our leader,” referring to NCRI founder Massoud Rajavi.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 313 in Tehran set fire to a large Khomeini poster.

 

 

In Sarbandar of Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 170 set fire to the entrance of an IRGC Basij base.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 716 in Khorramabad set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”

 

 

In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 911 set fire to a Khomeini/Khamenei poster.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 152 in Neyshabur, northeast Iran, set fire to the entrance of a regime center.

 

 

In Kermanshah, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 756 set fire to a four-sided Khomeini/Khamenei poster placed at the center of a city square.
