Iran: PMOI/MEK network increasing effort against regime sites

Iran, March 21, 2019 – Members of the “Resistance Units,” a network affiliated directly to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), are reporting increasing efforts and more targeting of sites associated to the mullahs’ espionage and crackdown apparatus.

 

 

In Kermanshah, western Iran, members of Resistance Unit 166 set fire to the entrance of a Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij site while chanting, “We answer fire with fire – Hail to the Iranian people – Hail to Rajavi,” in reference to Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 510 in Eslamshahr, southwest of Tehran, set fire to a large banner containing an image of current regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

 

 

In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 765 set fire to a sign at the entrance of an IRGC Basij base with similar slogans.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 740 in Sistan & Baluchistan Province set fire to a Khamenei image.

 

 

Also in Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 749 set fire to a Khamenei poster while chanting anti-regime slogans.

 

 

In Semnan, northern Iran, members of Resistance Unit 344 set fire to the entrance of another IRGC Basij base in response to a PMOI/MEK statement calling for escalating protests during the annual Fire Festival.

 

 

Members of Resistance Unit 712 in Mashhad, northeast Iran, set fire to the sign of the entrance at an IRGC Basij base while chanting, “Death to the mullahs’ principle – This new year will be victorious with the mullahs’ toppling.”

 

 

 

In Miandoab, northwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 412 set fire to the entrance of an IRGC Basij base while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”
