Iran, May 23, 2019 - Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated closely to the Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), along with their supporters, are expanding their activities in the cities of Khuzestan Province, Tehran, Karaj, Kerman, Lorestan Province, Khash, Sari and Saveh.
In Tehran, Resistance Unit members put up large posters of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi along with a quote on the role of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) in safeguarding the mullahs’ regime in power.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, resistance unit members put a large poster reading, “The IRGC is the main force safeguarding the mullahs’ regime – Resistance Units – May 2019”.
In Kerman, central Iran, PMOI/MEK supporters put up a large poster reading another such line about the IRGC.
In Tehran, the country’s capital, members of resistance units put literally destroyed images of Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on a wall of an IRGC Basij base. If arrested, these brave resistance unit members could be even sentenced to death for such measures and supporting the PMOI/MEK.
In Lorestan Province, western Iran, resistance unit members destroyed a poster at the entrance of an IRGC Basij base.
In Khash of Sistan & Baluchestan Province in southeast Iran, bravely destroyed the entrance of an IRGC base.
In Sari, northern Iran, PMOI/MEK supporters took to graffiti to write, “Death to Khamenei/ Hail to Rajavi,” also referring to Maryam Rajavi, head of the Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, members of Resistance Unit 822 held signs in support expressing their support for Maryam Rajavi and expressing their strong determination to continue their struggle until the mullahs are toppled.
In the city of Saveh, central Iran, members of a resistance unit wrote a sign quoting Massoud Rajavi: “Our rights and freedom will not be given out for free. We must obtain it from oppressors – PMOI/MEK supporters.”
