Iran, Feb. 16, 2019 – A recent report on the activities of “Resistance Units,” a network associated directly to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), marking the 1979 anti-monarchic revolution.
Members of Resistance Unit 813 in Karaj, west of Tehran, set fire to images of regime founder Khomeini and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei while chanting “Hail to the PMOI/MEK” and “Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian Resistane leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
In Esfarayen, northeast Iran, members of Resistance Unit 700 set fire to pro-regime posters while chanting, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi and in memory of PMOI/MEK martyrs.”
Members of Resistance Unit 781 in Eslamshahr, south of Tehran, set fire to a poster close to a base associated to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Basij paramilitary forces.
In Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 220 set fire to a poster of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) with images of Khomeini and Khamenei.
Members of Resistance Unit 120 in Khash, southeast Iran, set fire to a pro-regime poster.
In Karaj, west of Tehran, members of Resistance Unit 802 set fire to a poster at the entrance of an IRGC Basij base.
Members of numerous resistance units in the country’s capital, Tehran, took to graffiti in various areas and wrote: “Death to the dictator – Hail to the PMOI/MEK – Death to Khamenei – Hail to Massoud Rajavi – Death to Khamenei; Damn Khomeini – Death to Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi” and …
In the cities of Semnan, Shahr-e Kord, Ahvaz, Isfahan and Tabriz, members of resistance units put up various posters with different slogans.
Members of resistance units in the cities of Kermanshah, Shahr-e Kord, Zahedan and Hamedan put up numerous signs in various parts of these cities.
In the cities of Ilam, Neyshabur, Rasht, Yasuj, Rudhan, Zanjan, Karaj and Shiraz, members of resistance units put up signs of Iranian Resistance leaders calling for more protests and uprisings to realize the toppling of the mullahs’ rule in Iran.
