Iran, July 13, 2019 – Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated to the Iranian opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and supporters of this organization, are increasing their anti-regime activities in numerous cities and provinces throughout Iran. These measures are specifically targeting the regime’s assets and providing hope for the Iranian people that the overthrow of the mullahs’ rule is possible and within reach.
Shiraz: Supporters in this major southern Iranian city installed large posters of Iranian opposition President Maryam Rajavi on walls in residential areas to express their deep commitments to the opposition MEK. Their message is every city and town in this beautiful nation tirelessly awaits the arrival of Freedom, with Maryam Rajavi.
Zanjan: MEK supporters aired a large white balloon with the large letters of “Maryam Rajavi” written on it. The balloon traveled around visible to a large section of the city.
Arak: Resistance units and MEK supporters aired hundreds of colored balloons carrying a large poster of Maryam Rajavi, the president of the Iranian Resistance. The “Free Iran with Maryam Rajavi” motto was written on the poster.
The message the MEK supporters were propagating was:
“The skies and the land are filled with Resistance,” and “The regime will not be left alone anywhere in this great nation.”
Tehran: MEK supporters and Resistance units aired a large balloon carrying a Maryam Rajavi poster. The “Free Iran with Maryam Rajavi” motto was written on the poster. They say the goal in airing this balloon was to provide hope and courage to anyone who would see that balloon flying over their area that Iran would be free and that the mullahs would inevitably fall.
Marand: Members of the Resistance Unit 307 in this city installed a large banner in a crowded residential area. The banner read, “Democracy, Freedom, with Maryam Rajavi” with the aim of reaching out to people that real and sustained democracy and freedom is attainable with the Iranian opposition and its Maryam Rajavi.
Tabriz: Members of the Resistance Unit 980 shouted “Hail to Rajavi, down with Khamenei,” referring to the Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi, and the clerical regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei, respectively. This brave and fearless act was done in a crowded street of Tabriz with the aim of telling the people that the Resistance will continue until victory is achieved.
Chaloos: A group of MEK supporters and a number of resistance unit members in this northern city prepared a video clip showing a man riding a bike in a mountainous area of the city. He was chanting “VIVA MARYAM” while riding his bike. With his symbolic act, he was saying that even the silence of mountains can be broken with the voice of Resistance.
Ahvaz: An MEK supporter is seen carrying the portrait of Maryam Rajavi showing his relentless support for the Resistance.
