The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Monday as 536 deaths and 42,541 new cases (new pandemic record). Furthermore, 6932 patients are in ICUs (new pandemic record) and 4865 of the new cases have been hospitalized.
Regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei shifted from his previous position of banning importing credible vaccines, specifically fearing an outburst of protests and uprising across the country as the Covid-19 death toll rises. “Vaccines need to be procured, either through imports or domestic production lines,” he said on Wednesday.
Despite continuous demands made by physicians and experts to impose a full shutdown, Khamenei said this is a “technical issue and needs to be evaluated by the National Covid-19 Task Force.” Furthermore, he emphasized that the annual Muharram religious ceremonies must be held, claiming that the nation and the country (read the mullahs’ regime) “need the sanctity of such gatherings.”
“When patients are receiving care in the hospital courthouse it means the medical system has crumbled. Conditions in state hospitals are atrocious. There are patients receiving 50 percent of their oxygen from machines and the medical staff simply wait for the patient to die,” said the head of Iran’s Special Care Association on Wednesday, according to the state-run Khabar Online website.
“Yesterday we had 22,700 people seeking initial medical care for Covid-19 symptoms in Tehran province. Currently we have 9484 patients hospitalized in Tehran, of which around 2500 are in ICUs,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Wednesday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
“Based on our evaluations 100 percent of the lab samples were of the delta variant. The number of deaths in Mashhad has increased to more than 200 per day,” according to a statement released by the main coronavirus laboratory of Mashhad University on Wednesday.
“The status quo is now hyper-critical. Medical centers in Neyshabur have reached their capacity limits and we are looking to place patients in religious and sports facilities that have adequate conditions,” said the deputy dean of Neyshabur Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.
“30 out of each 1,000 people are being hospitalized for coronavirus. We should not be reporting 50 deaths in each medical center. Power blackouts have resulted in a massacre,” said the member of the regime’s Majlis (parliament) from the city of Sari in northern Iran on Wednesday, according to the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
“They are placing patients in the streets and there are no medicine and equipment available,” said a Majlis member Gilan province on Wednesday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
“During the past 24 hours we have lost 44 patients to Covid-19. If this virus is not contained hospitals in Gilan province will not be able to provide medical care to the patients,” said the deputy dean of Gilan Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the regime’s official IRIB news agency.

“During the past few days, we have witnessed an unprecedented number of patients seeking medical care. We were forced to allocated five of our special branches to coronavirus patients,” said the head of Khomeini Hospital in Ahvaz on Wednesday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
“Around 2000 coronavirus patients are hospitalized and ten times more are in their homes. Our conditions are not good at all We have lost 40 patients to coronavirus in the past 24 hours,” said the deputy dean of Golestan Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the state-run Fararu media outlet.
“We are running short of three thousand oxygen tanks. There were 500 new patients hospitalized just yesterday,” said the dean of Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the Fars news agency. “The only real solution is to impose a full quarantine. If we don’t, the factory producing patients will never stop and I believe we will not be able to estimate a peak for the fifth wave,” said the spokesperson of Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Wednesday, according to the Fars news agency.
I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the people of #Iran, especially to the people of #Mashhad. They are facing a tsunami of death due to the criminal and predatory policies of the clerical regime and are losing more and more of their loved ones every day. #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/elMUrgJmtH
