The regime is continuing its criminal and plundering policies regarding the Covid-19 vaccine. “The National Covid-19 Task Force has authorized individuals and companies to import the vaccine for people, who cannot wait for the vaccine to be provided free of charge, to be able to purchase the vaccine and use it,” said Alireza Raisi, spokesperson of the regime’s National Covid-19 Task Force on Sunday, according to the state-run Boltan News website.

“The situation is out of control and according to epidemiologists between 40 to 70 percent of the society have to contract coronavirus for relative and group immunization to be reached,” said Minoo Mohraz, a senior member of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Monday. “I have to admit that we didn’t take the correct measures from the very beginning and we are still in such circumstances. During the past 14 months we have never seen such a speedy rise in the number of deaths. The status quo will get even worse. It is far too late to impose quarantine measures. If general commuting continues, this critical situation of the Covid-19 illness will also continue,” she added, according to the state-run Roydad24 website.

“Due to the high number of hospitalized patients, we have set up various centers in our hospital complexes for new Covid-19 cases to receive vital medicine, such as Remdesivir, and they are sent home,” said Masoud Mardani, another member of the National Covid-19 Task Force on Monday. “The status quo needs to be compared to the days of the 1980s Iran-Iraq War. The current circumstances are critical and even considered hyper-critical,” he added, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“The number of people hospitalized stands at 2398, of which 365 are in ICUs. During the past 24 hours we have lost 24 patients to Covid-19,” said the spokesperson of the Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“The number of daily deaths has surpassed the 20 mark and the number of people being hospitalized each day has increased from 400 to 1500 ever since March 21,” said the deputy dean of East Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the Mehr news agency.

“At the beginning of the recent peak the highest number of new cases was reported from the southern areas of Khuzestan province. However, right now the highest number of new cases are being reported from the north and eastern sections of this province. The cities of Masjid Soleiman, Shush, Andimeshk, Dezful and Izeh are reporting high numbers of people being hospitalized, forcing us to transfer a number of patients from Masjid Soleimani to the city of Shushtar,” said the deputy dean of Ahvaz Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“1317 coronavirus patients are hospitalized as of now, of which 253 are in ICUs and 58 are under ventilators. During the past 24 hours 19 patients have lost their lives. The total death toll as now stands at 3985,” said the dean of East Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“In the past 24 hours 27 coronavirus patients have lost their lives and the province’s total death count as of today stands at 3203 with 1061 currently hospitalized,” said the dean of Alborz Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

In Mazandaran province, with 351 new patients, the number of coronavirus patients hospitalized stands at 1644, of which 281 are in ICUs. The province needs to prepare itself for more difficult conditions with various measures, including launching field hospitals,” according to a Monday report wired by ISNA.

“Our emergency has reached its full capacity even though beds have been added. We are trying to increase the number of people released, and we are telling patients who have high blood oxygen levels to get medicine and rest at home. However, each day the number of people being hospitalized is increasing and the emergency branch has been forced to stop accepting new patients,” said a senior official in Imam Reza Hospital of Razavi Khorasan province on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“All the cities and towns of Lorestan province are registered as red zones. The number of coronavirus patients hospitalized stands at 1193 and 13 people lost their lives in the past 24 hours,” according to a statement released by Lorestan Medical Sciences University on Monday.

“Hospitals are in critical conditions. This will be a difficult week and next week will be even more problematical,” said the dean of North Khorasan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.
