The regime’s Health Ministry spokesperson announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Monday as 274 deaths and 23,311 new cases, both registering as new records since the beginning of this pandemic, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“Currently we have 295 cities and towns registered as red zones and 99 are designated as orange, 45 are yellow, and only nine cities and towns are blue zones,” she said. “There is no area in our country immune of this illness. We are also witnessing a significant increase in the number of new cases and patients hospitalized. All provinces are facing serious escalations in the number of people seeking medical care for Covid-19 symptoms,” she added, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

With the increasing number of coronavirus deaths across Iran, the regime’s own internal disputes have also increased. On Saturday, April 10, head of the Majlis (parliament) Health Commission, said this commission has sent a letter to the regime’s judiciary requesting judicial action against regime President Hassan Rouhani for his mismanagement.

On Monday, Ebrahim Raisi, head of the regime’s judiciary, made the following remarks in the Judiciary High Council: “Officials need to be held accountable for the delay in implementing Covid-19 decisions that has led to more damages and losses of life. Why aren’t decisions being taken on time and implemented despite the clear advice of the Health Ministry, medical centers and universities on confront coronavirus? People’s lives and their businesses are particularly important.” (April 12, the semi-official ISNA news agency)

“In normal circumstances we have around 1,000 deaths per day across the country. 250 coronavirus deaths per day means 25 percent of the country’s entire daily death toll is due to Covid-19 and this is not a small number,” said Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi on Monday. “The death toll may go beyond the fall season numbers when we had 400 deaths per day,” he added, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

Alireza Raisi, head of the National Covid-19 Task Force, warned on Monday that if restrictions are not fully imposed during the ten-day nationwide lockdown period “we should expect the daily death toll to reach into four-digit numbers,” according to the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

On Monday, the semi-official ISNA news agency wrote, “The coronavirus vaccine costs $2 across the world. Here, in the black market, it is being soled at 450-600 million rials ($1,800-2,400). From 50 dealers in the Naser Khosro market, only a few confirm that they sell Covid vaccines. But they don’t have it themselves. They must call someone and their contact will procure the vaccine.” ISNA also reported that on the previous day, the secretary of National Nursing House said, “The Covid vaccines have not reached their real owners and have been given to people other than the medical staff through different channels.”

Alireza Zali, the head of Tehran’s Covid-19 Task Force, said on Sunday, “There is no area in Tehran that isn’t contaminated. The contamination in Tehran is beyond code red. The daily number of hospitalized patients has reached 1,445, of whom 250 are in ICU. The total number of hospitalized patients has reached 6,400. We forecast that by the end of the week, the growing trend will continue and as you know, Tehran is a sample that is representative of the country.” (Source: ISNA news agency)
