The regime’s Health Ministry announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers from the past 24 hours on Monday as 108 deaths, being the highest daily number in the 57 days, and 8510 new cases, being the highest such figure in the past 81 days. “The UK strain that is currently circulating across many provinces can spread many times faster than the previous virus and this time around it is far more aggressive,” she added, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

“Comparing the death rates of the country and Tehran in 2019 and the spring and summer season in 2020, to the same periods in the previous years we are seeing a 250 percent increase in the official death rate. Official figures suggest that over 60,000 people have died of Covid-19. While during this period the total number of deaths has increased by around 150,000,” according to a Monday piece published in the state-controlled Etemad daily.

“We have 400 to 500 people hospitalized each day. This is not a small figure. We have around 3700 patients in ICUs,” said Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi on Monday. “A one-year-old child just died of the UK strain. Yesterday or the day before a dear reporter died, a 40-year-old man. I should be clearer that we cannot say the UK virus has not spread across the country. We must assume that this mutated strain has spread into all areas of the country,” he added, according to state TV.

“The virus is spreading like fire. Considering Covid-19’s ups and downs in Tehran, it is forecasted that Tehran will be facing an expanded epidemic soon,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Monday, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the regime's Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“Last night we had a massive crisis of an increasing number of new coronavirus patients. We were forced to transfer a number of the patients to other sections and facilities,” said the deputy dean of Tehran Medical University on Monday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency on Monday.

“Due to conditions in the cities of Rudsar and Rudbar, we are registering these two areas as orange zones. We are witnessing clusters of Covid-19 and a high pace transfer in these areas,” said the deputy dean of Gilan Medical Sciences University on Monday, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

Head of the Khomein Medical School on Monday reported a 250 percent increase in the number of patients in the past month in comparison to the month prior to that, adding a fourth Covid-19 wave is in the making in this city, according to the regime's official IRNA news agency.

Mazandaran province reported an increase of 133 coronavirus patients in the past 24 hours, leading the total number to reach 676 as of today. 170 of these individuals are in ICUs, according to a Monday reported wired by the Fars news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
