The regime’s Health Ministry spokesperson announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers on Friday as an unprecedented 6134 new cases and 4933 patients are in ICUs. Both stats are the highest such numbers since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in the past eight months.

“There are many patients in our hospitals that we treat as Covid-19 patients while their symptoms do not meet those announced by the World Health Organization. As a result, they are not registered as Covid-19 patients. This changes the number of deaths in each province based on their conditions by 1.5 to 2 to 2.2 times the numbers announced,” said Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi in Thursday, according to the Tasnim news agency, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force.

“Why were clinics and health centers not successful in our country. Most of the people are refusing to go to health centers and many did not want to go. This mean we wanted to force them into such facilities. Our medical centers did not have adequate conditions,” said Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi on Thursday. “Many countries used their hotels for this purpose. Well, in our country there was no such accommodations. For us to build a silo and tell people to go there, no one would listen,” he added, according to state TV.

“Today, with the mismanagement of the Covid-19 Task Force, we are witnessing over 300 coronavirus deaths per day. The Task Force and its chair, being the President himself, are responsible for the deaths of these individuals and they need to be held accountable,” said Eghbal Shakeri, a member of the regime’s Majlis (parliament) from Tehran on Thursday. “Our medical professionals are in extremely poor conditions. All these signal mismanagements in this regard,” he added,” according to the Majlis website.

“We are currently on a path that we should have been eight months ago. Many countries that we say are in poor conditions on TV are in far better conditions than we are,” said an advisor to the Health Minister on Thursday, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.

“The numbers of the past 24 hours show a 15 percent increase in deaths in comparison to the previous 24-hour period. The number of PCR positive tests are also showing a 18 percent increase during the past week,” said Alireza Zali, head of the Tehran Covid-19 Task Force on Thursday, according to state TV.

The number of Covid-19 patients are 1694 and 320 are in ICUs, said the spokesperson of the Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Friday. 45 people have died Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the Mehr news agency, an outlet linked to the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

“The number of Covid-19 cases and those hospitalized are increasing day by day in [East Azerbaijan [province],” said the deputy dean of East Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Friday. “We have 1240 people hospitalized, of which 238 are in ICUs. The number of hospitalized patients is considered a new high,” the official added, according to the IRGC-linked Fars news agency.

“With 85 Covid-19 patients being hospitalized in the past 24 hours we have now registered a new coronavirus record,” said the deputy dean of Qazvin Medical Sciences University on Friday. “The number of patients in ICUs have increased. The ICU beds of non-coronavirus patients in the Rahimian and Velayat hospitals have been allocated to Covid-19 patients. We don’t have enough ICU supplies and equipment,” the official added, according to Fars.
