“Considering the high number of people seeking treatment in hospitals and those who are hospitalized for Covid-19, people with non-emergency cases will not be hospitalized until further notice. This is based on instructions issued by the Health Ministry,” said Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi on Friday, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

“Currently the number of people hospitalized across West Azerbaijan province has reached the 964 count. There are 182 patients in ICUs, of which 54 are under ventilators. The total number of deaths in this province has reached 1176 and the increasing trend in this regard is very dangerous,” said the dean of West Azerbaijan Medical Sciences University on Friday, according to the Javan daily, an outlet linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).

“The hospitals are full and there are no empty places for new Covid-19 patients. Four hospitals across the province have returned to accepting coronavirus patients,” said the dean of Behbahan Medical Sciences University in Khuzestan province on Thursday.

“Today, the second Covid-19 peak, we hospitalized the highest number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals across the province,” said the dean of Jondi Shapour Medical Sciences University in Ahvaz on Thursday.

“All the number of patients hospitalized by facilities covered by the Isfahan Medical Sciences University, other than the cities of Kashan and Aran & Bidgol, has reached 1553. There are 284 patients in ICUs. During the past 24 hours 19 patients have lost their lives,” said the dean of this university on Thursday, according to the state-run Khabar Fouri website.

“With an increase in the number new Covid-19 cases we are running out of beds in our hospitals across Kurdistan province,” said the dean of Kurdistan Medical Sciences University on Thursday, according to Kurdistan Network TV.

Head of the Ali Ibn Abi-Taleb Hospital in the city of Rafsanjan in Kerman province said the facility is nearing its limit in accepting Covid-19 patients. “The ICU section has no room for new patients. We have decided to transfer ICU patients to the crisis center. The third coronavirus wave has brought about critical conditions in the city of Rafsanjan and the number of Covid-19 are increasing tremendously. Locals are in grave danger,” he said on Friday, according to ISNA.

“During the past 24 hours 19 Covid-19 patients have lost their lives and the total number of deaths in Alborz province has reached 1281. For the past three days we have had 636, 663 and 689 patients hospitalized, respectively. These are the highest such numbers in the past seven months,” said the caretaker of Alborz Medical Sciences University on Friday, according to the semi-official ILNA news agency.

Eight months after the Covid-19 pandemic began, at a time when it has been months since the regime’s own officials and experts have been complaining about a shortage in medical and hygiene supplies and equipment, and after at least 118,000 people have lost their lives, the regime’s Armed Forces Headquarters announced that following orders from regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to “Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri from October 8 all medical centers and hospitals of the armed forces will be allocated to Covid-19 patients.” These orders, not published as of yet, are nothing but a symbolic measure by the loathed mullahs’ regime that Khamenei has resorted to in fear of the people’s wrath.

At the outset of the coronavirus outbreak, the Iranian Resistance had declared that the hospitals of the IRGC have the most advanced medical facilities and must be allocated to the people. All the equipment of these hospitals belongs to the Iranian people. Khamenei must forfeit his hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of assets to the people and to the coronavirus response. The stellar budgets of the nuclear and ballistic missile projects and the funds given to the regime’s terrorist proxies must be spent on treating coronavirus patients. And the delayed paychecks of Iran’s medical workers must be paid from the assets of the IRGC.
