Initial reports of May Day rallies in Iran+Videos&photos

1 May 2018— Video shows a May Day gathering in Tehran outside the regime's parliament.

The workers were carrying placards written, “Social security is the workers’ rights”



 

 

Even as the Iranian regime held its own counter-march outside the state-run Labor House, protesters were heard chanting:
“Death to oppressors, hail to all workers”

 

 

 

 

 

A group of  workers rallied in a square in the city of Saqqez of Kurdistan Province in Iran. The regime’s plainclothes agents attacked the protesters, leading to their resistance. These workers are determined to continue their protests throughout the day.

 

 

 

 

Locals of Baneh, also in Iran’s Kurdistan Province, are continuing their strike into the 17th consecutive day of protests demanding authorities open the Iran-Iraq border.

Workers of the Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane company in Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, also held a gathering to commemorate Labor Day.

 

 

 

 

A group of workers in Marivan, Kurdistan Province, gathered in the city’s Shabrang Square marking Labor day and protesting the reigme’s unjust labor policies.
