On August 31, 1920, the world’s first radio news was broadcasted. The Radio station MK8 located in Detroit, state of Michigan, started broadcasting various radio news for inside and outside the United States. Until that time radios broadcasted only music and advertisement.
This radio received its news from the Associated Press and this was adopted by other radio stations.
