The picture which turned the world against rulers of South Vietnam

Simultaneous with the big attack of Vietnam revolutionary forces against the stooge regime of South Vietnam in Saigon, named TET attack, this picture was published in the press on February 1, 1968 and turned the public anger in the whole world against South Vietnamese rulers and raised the protesting voice of Americans for why their government supported such officials. The anti-war demonstrations in the United States were intensified. The picture shows the Saigon’s Police Chief who is shooting at the head of a handcuffed Viet Cong with pistol.
