On April 8, 1973, Pablo Picasso, the great painter of twentieth century and founder of Cubism in painting, passed away at the age of 92 in France. Picasso was born in Spain in 1881 and started painting at the age of four. Picasso painted her mother’s portrait at the age of 15 which is considered an artistic masterpiece.
Picasso was one of the most prolific painters; it is said he painted close to 20,000 paintings. A big museum is allocated only to his paintings.
