Hunger Strike of PMOI’s supporters protesting against massacre of Political Prisoners- December 5, 1988

On December 5, 1988, the second week of hunger strike of freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) and the Iranian Resistance in 17 countries of the world started to protest against massacre of the political prisoners by Khomeini regime.
By this widespread and unprecedented hunger strike which was staged in the world’s largest cities, and lasted for several consecutive days, the attention of general opinion and international political figures and personalities were attracted to the brutal massacre of more than 30,000 political prisoners in Iran. Due to this brave move of the Iranians supporters of the Resistance, the United Nations General Assembly condemned the Khomeini regime for severe violation of human rights for fourth consecutive year.
