Iranian opposition MEK network continuing the November uprising

Reporting by PMOI/MEK
Iran, December 19, 2019—Iranian “Resistance Units” members and supporters of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) are keeping the flames of the November uprising alive. A massive and expanding network inside Iran are bravely risking their lives to pursue pro-resistance activities targeting the mullahs’ regime.

Dozens of cities and towns across the country are continuously becoming scenes of Resistance Units members displaying quotes from messages of Iranian Resistance leader Massoud Rajavi and opposition President Maryam Rajavi, head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

In Ahvaz, southwest Iran, a large banner of Maryam Rajavi was installed on a pedestrian bridge reading, “Rise up to overthrow the mullahs’ regime.” Various images of Iranian Resistance leaders read, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi,” referring to Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In Rasht, northern Iran, a Massoud Rajavi poster called on the youth to continue protesting against the mullahs’ regime. Graffiti in another district of this city read, “The mullahs’ regime has reached its end.”

In Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, a Massoud Rajavi poster read, “It is time to multiply and expand rebellious areas across the country… The liberating army strategy has spread throughout Iran.”

Various posters in Mashhad, a city in northeast Iran, read different messages:

“Khamenei, you murderer, your end is near”

“Massoud Rajavi: Protests continue”

In Tabriz, a variety of Massoud Rajavi images were placed in various areas reading, “Truly, the rebellious youth have made life a living hell for the mullahs’ regime.” Various boards in a school were seen with texts reading, “Death to Khamenei – Hail to Rajavi.”

In the cities of Damavand, Sabzevar and Marivan, and Lorestan and Zanjan Provinces, similar scenes with a variety images and posters were portraying quotes of the Iranian opposition leaders.

In Tehran, the Iranian capital, resistance unit members put up various images of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi reading a variety of similar quotes encouraging the Iranian people to elevate their efforts, in line with Resistance Units, to further weaken the mullahs’ regime.

In Shiraz and Karaj, two major centers of the November uprising protests, resistance units members were seen continuing anti-regime measures, again indicating the flame is very much alive. This is very alarming for the mullahs’ regime.

These Resistance Units and PMOI/MEK supporters are daring dangerous odds in continuing their activities despite the brutal crackdown imposed by the mullahs’ regime. The numbers are horrific as MEK sources have confirmed over 1,500 protesters killed (520 names confirmed and published), over 4,000 injured and at least 12,000 arrested. The number of those detained are rising.

It is worth noting that any support for the PMOI inside Iran is considered punishable by death by the mullahs’ judiciary. Back in June 2014, Gholamreza Khosravi, an MEK supporter, was arrested and executed merely for sending a small financial donation to a satellite TV network affiliated to the PMOI/MEK. “Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani was arrested in 2008 in Rafsanjan, Kerman Province, in connection with his alleged support of the pro-PMOI (People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran) TV station Sima-ye Azadi (Voice of Freedom),” according to Amnesty International.
