Iran’s regime set an unprecedented record in the past 36 years with 280 announced executions in the Persian month of Mehr (September 23 – October 22, 2025)—one execution every two and a half hours.
In response, Iran’s rebellious youth issued 20 fiery warnings to the regime, setting an example of resistance for the people and youth of Iran.
The rebellious youth struck at the regime’s centers of suppression and repression in various cities as follows:
- Setting fire to a regime building in District 5 of Mashhad
- Setting fire to a center of corruption and plundering run by the mullahs and the IRGC in Tehran
- Incendiary attack against a center of fundamentalism and crime in Karaj
- Setting fire to the repressive central district office in Semirom
- Incendiary attacks against two IRGC Basij centers in Mashhad
- Attacking an IRGC Basij base in Dezful
- Incendiary attack against an IRGC Basij base in Qazvin
- Attacking an IRGC Basij base in Zahedan
- Setting fire to a signboard for the Ministry of Intelligence’s espionage headquarters in Hamedan
- Torching a signboard for the IRGC Basij’s espionage headquarters in Qazvin
- Setting fire to a banner promoting the regime’s warmongering in Nik Shahr
- Setting fire to two IRGC Basij bases in Mashhad
- Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base in Karaj
- Setting fire to images of regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini, supreme leader Ali Khamenei, terror master Qassem Soleimani, and government signs and banners in Mashhad, Isfahan, and Jiroft
With this unprecedented bloodshed and the creation of an atmosphere of terror and fear, the regime is trying to block the eruption of anger from the rebellious youth and the people’s uprising.
Coinciding with the week of the global “No to Executions” campaign, the pioneering and heroic rebellious youth, through their daring and fiery attacks against the Basij and IRGC bases and other symbols of tyranny and repression, sent the message that “Fire answers executions,” giving hope to the oppressed people of Iran who want nothing more than the overthrow of the regime and the freedom of their country.
The regime hanged 152 prisoners last year during the month of Mehr (September 22 – October 21, 2024). This year, due to its shaky position and to ensure its shattered rule, the regime has left 280 families in mourning. This figure is seven and a half times that of Mehr 1401 (September 23 – October 22, 2022). Thus, the number of executions in the first seven months of the Iranian year 1404 (March 21 – October 22, 2025) has reached 1,135. Among them, 36 are women, and six were under the age of 18 at the time of their alleged crime. The number of people executed in the first seven months of this year has increased by 110% compared to the same period last year (542 executions).
The 20 fiery warnings from the rebellious youth and the destruction of the regime’s centers of suppression and repression carry the message that the answer to the modern-day tyrant is the overthrow of his regime through a popular uprising and the army of liberation.
